The National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse and medications. The Westfield Police Department is committed to doing everything in our power to combat the growing issue of drug abuse as a national problem, but more importantly right here in our own community. Unused prescriptions can often fall into the wrong hands and many times act as the first step to drug abuse and dependence.
