  1. Crime Free Multi Housing Meeting for Landlords

    November 28, 2017, 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM @ Shaker Farms Country Club

    This program meets the Fourth Thursday of every month at 6:00 pm, at Shaker Farms Country Club in Westfield. For November the meeting will be Tuesday, November 14 to avoid a Thanksgiving conflict. The mission of this group is to update and educate local landlords and property managers on issues pertinent to owning, renting and managing residential properties. Each month, information is shared with landlords from several different speakers including Attorney Stanley Komack, representatives from Ormsby Insurance Company, and the Westfield Police Department. There is normally a special gues speaker who addresses a specific topic. Speakers have included members of HAP Housing, building and health inspectors, fire inspectors, code enforcement, judges from Housing Court, sheriffs, legal experts and many others.
