NEIGHBORS HELPING NEIGHBORS

BUILDING CARING COMMUNITIES
Westfield Caring Community Coalition believes that the best care is local. Westfield's seniors, their families and caring neighbors, know what they need and what can be offered to meet those needs.

The goals of the WCCC is to:

*help seniors to remain as independent as possible

*empower seniors to take charge of their lives and to assist others in their communities as well

*promote and strengthen the bonds of family and neighborhood

The aim of the WCCC is to match the "needs" of seniors with "offers" of services to meet those needs. Some of these needs include: Grocery Shopping, Transportation to Medical Appointments, Companion Care, Caregiver Support, Leaf Raking, Snow Shoveling, Handyman Services and many others.

The Westfield Caring Community Sites are located at:

**The Westfield Athenaem in the Reference Section

**The Westfield Council on Aging 40 Main Street

**Voice Mail Box at (413) 562-8639 Call to ask questions or leave "needs" and "offers."
