CITY OF WESTFIELD
IN CITY COUNCIL AUGUST 16, 2001
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF WESTFIELD, ADOPTED JUNE 17, 1993
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WESTFIELD AS FOLLOWS:
That Chapter 2, Section 2-5 be amended by deleting the section in entirety and inserting in place thereof the following, effective December 31, 2001.
The following wards of the City of Westfield are divided into precincts as follows. |
| WARD ONE: | The territory of Ward One of the City is hereby divided into the following two (2) precincts:
Precinct 1-A: Beginning at the intersection of the Montgomery town line at the intersection of the Massachusetts Turnpike, thence northerly along the Montgomery town line to the Southampton town line. Thence easterly along the Southampton town line to the intersection of Southampton Road, thence southerly along Southampton Road to North Elm Street , thence southerly on North Elm Street to the intersection of Lockhouse Road, thence northerly along Lockhouse Road to Arm Brook, thence southwesterly along Arm Brook to the intersection of Simmons Brook, thence northwesterly along Simmons Brook to the intersection of Fuller Reservoir Pond, thence northwesterly along Simmons Creek to the intersection of the Massachusetts Turnpike, thence westerly along the Massachusetts Turnpike to the intersection of the Montgomery town line and the point of the beginning.
Precinct 1-B: Beginning at the intersection of the Montgomery town line at the intersection of the Massachusetts Turnpike, thence easterly along the Massachusetts Turnpike to the intersection of Simmons Creek, thence southeasterly along Simmons Creek to Fuller Reservoir Pond, thence southeasterly along Simmons Brook to the intersection of Arm Brook, thence northeasterly along Arm Brook to the intersection of Lockhouse Road, thence southerly along Lockhouse Road to the intersection of North Elm Street, thence southerly along North Elm Street to the intersection of Notre Dame Street, thence easterly along Notre Dame Street to the intersection of Woodmont Street, thence southerly along Woodmont Street to the intersection of Union Street and Katharine Street, thence southerly on Katharine Street to the intersection of the Penn Central Railroad, thence westerly along the Penn Central Railroad to the intersection of North Elm Street, thence southerly along North Elm Street to the intersection of the middle line of the Westfield River, thence westerly along the middle line of the Westfield River to the intersection of the Russell town line, thence northeasterly along the Russell town line to the Montgomery town line, thence northeasterly along the Montgomery town line to the intersection of the Massachusetts Turnpike and the point of beginning. |
