| Q: Where are you located? | A: The department is located at 4 Holcomb Street off Court Street. Look for the signs on Court St. The last left before Noble Hospital Cream sided building |
| Q: Can I register by phone, fax or on site? | A: No - Sorry all registrations must be completed with full payment. Register at the office, mail or drop in the drop off box located on pole

| Q: Can my child be on a team with a friend or for carpooling? | A: Most of the programs we can accommodate your request unless it requires a tryout or skills assessment. Please put your request on the registration form

| Q: Programs don't start until summer should I register now? | A: Yes! Some programs fill up quickly. Examples are T-Ball, Junior Golf Lessons, Theater Arts, Gymnastics, Sports Sampler, Start Smart, Nature Secrets and Boys Pitching Machine

| Q: Can I receive a refund if I decide to cancel? | A: Yes, the request must be received three working days before the program starts. A $ 10.00 cancellation fee applies. You must complete a vendor form and send along a letter requesting why you want a refund. Refunds take three weeks to process. You can always keep a credit on your household for future programs. Once you have placed a credit on your household you cannot transfer it back to a refund

| Q: What if I can't afford a program ? | A: We don't want to have any child left behind due to economic setbacks. The department has a Scholarship Fund to help. The fund will subsidize the program fee for a youth participant 17 years of age or younger or a student in high school. See Scholarship form and requirements

| Q: If a program is filled up do you take a wait list? | A: Yes- The department has always had fair policy first come first serve. When an opening comes up we call # 1 and work down the list

| Q: I missed sign ups for a Westfield group do you have a phone number? | A: We have a list of private groups under Links

| Q: Do you offer childcare during the summer? | A: Yes we have a great program in the summer called Adventure Zone. Ages 5-12 a full day camp. Hours 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Participants bring a lunch with ice pack or cooler,water and snacks. Call the department with any questions or attend our parent meeting listed in the brochure. All payments are due the Friday before each Monday. The staff does not accept payments for the program only field trips. A newsletter will go out each week letting you know what field trips are scheduled. Adventure Zone will offer a rich program experience for participants. Activities include, but not limited to arts and crafts, sports, tournaments, field trips, swimming one a week, guest speakers and visits to the new spray park.

| Q: I have more than one child do I get a discount? | A: No- Sorry there are no discounts. If you need financial help then apply for a Scholarship located under forms

| Q: Are you hiring? | A: The department will advertise for Seasonal positions in February and March in the Westfield Newspaper. You can always visit the Personnel Department Website under Departments

| Q: Are you looking for Volunteers? | | A: Yes, call the department for a Volunteer Packet and list where you would like to volunteer. Some programs are looking for coaches. If you want to coach your child's team please write it on your registration form. All volunteers require a CORI/SORI Criminal Back Round Check. |
| Q: I want to make a donation to help a child how do I do that? | A: The department has scholarship Fund. All donations are made payable to: Parks & Recreation Scholarship Fund or "Add Up" on your registration form.
