| Filing a Claim Against the City | In the event that you believe you have been harmed by an action of the City or a City employee working for the City, you may file a claim against the City. A claim is an important legal document and you may wish to seek the legal services of a lawyer. In the event that you chose not to do so, you may use the form provided. It may or may not be adequate to state your claim.
The claim form has two separate sections; City Claim Letter and Statement of Claim Form. Please read the City Claim letter before sending in your claim as it contains useful information. Click on the heading below to view and print the claim letter and the claim form. |
