Overview

The commission will have the charge, management and control of the employees of the Public Safety Communications Center and the power to make such lawful rules for their discipline.The commission shall approve all bills of the department, including the payroll.

The commission shall consist of five members, the chief of police, the fire chief, the information technology manager and two mayoral appointments.The Mayor appointments are for three year terms and are subject to Council confirmation.
