Water Rates

Water rates are based on a tiered structure, where the cost increases as water is consumed. These rates reward customers that conserve water in the form of lower bills. Water use is split into three tiers.

Tier 1 - 0 to 8,000 gallons per quarter ($3.25 per 1,000 gallons)
Tier 2 - 8,001 to 30,000 gallons per quarter ($4.07 per 1,000 gallons)
Tier 3 - > 30,000 gallons per quarter ($5.69 per 1,000 gallons)

Customers are billed by tier for the water used in each tier. For example: If a customer used 12,000 gallons, the first 8,000 would be at the Tier 1 rate ($3.25/1,000 gallons) and the next 4,000 would be at the Tier 2 rate ($4.07/1,000 gallons).
