Event Location127 Holyoke Road WestfieldMA01085 ArtWorks & Window World presents: Westfield Winter Wonderland Walk
ArtWorks & Window World presents: Westfield Winter Wonderland Walk2023-12-09T10:00:00Gaslight District along Elm Street downtown Westfield MA
The event will reuse the art walk concept, while combining it with a European-style Christmas market. It will have art, music, shopping and dining elements. At its core is a show at the Olver Transit Pavillion, 10 Arnold St., where local and regional artists will display work inside and around the esplanade. ArtWorks Westfield has hosted a winter art show, “Art in Unusual Places,” at the bus stop for seven years. The art walk component will take place along Elm Street, like ArtoberFest.
“This will be something completely new and different for the city, so we’re pretty psyched about it,” said Westerlind.
This time, artists outdoors will be in tents, shielding them from inclement weather. Not as many artists will be at this event; Westerlind said if everything lines up, there could be around 50.
Other events will coincide with the event, such as the Hutghi at the Nook’s night market at 8 Franklin St., from 2 to 10 p.m. The flea market will have artists and vendors set up in the building, along with food, live jazz, and carolers. Live art demonstrations will also take place at Blended Vintage Marketplace, 48 Elm St.
