  1. Donations Sought for Children's Book and Toy Sale

    September 17, 2019, 9:00 AM - October 12, 2019, 5:00 PM @ Westfield Athenaeum

    Please donate your clean and gently used children's and young adult books, toys, games, puzzles, CDs and DVDs, for the Friends of the Westfield Athenaeum Children's Books and Toy Sale. Toys and books may be dropped off any time during regular library hours. There will be an Educators' and Friends' members preview night on Thursday, October 17 from 4 PM - 8 PM and will be open to the public October 18 and 19. All proceeds support the programs of the Athenaeum.

    Please donate your gently used, unbroken jewelry for the Friends of the Athenaeum Vintage and Used Jewelry Sale. Donations may be dropped off at the Athenaeum during regular library hours through October 11. The sale will be on Saturday, October 19 from 9 AM - 5 PM at the Pumpkin Fest! All proceeds support the programs and activities of the Westfield Athenaeum.

    The Westfield Athenaeum is pleased to announce the works of Marcia Kahn coming to the Jasper Rand Art Museum. Ms. Kahn graduated from Hunter College in New York and later studied painting, sculpture and jewelry with Kulicke, Kinchan, Miller, Buechner, Carla R. Johnson and Bob Masla. She has always wanted to run away with the circus and her circus themed exhibit is one of whimsy, color and imagination.

    First Thursday Concert Series returns to the Westfield Athenaeum. This month we welcome Bella Voce. Lisa Woods is the mezzo-soprano half of the duo, 'Bella Voce' with soprano Teri LaFleur. Along with pianist and composer, Clifton "Jerry" Noble, they'll be performing a repertoire from Opera, Broadway, the American Songbook and beyond throughout the Pioneer Valley. This year's program includes selections from the American Songbook as well as songs made popular by the Andrews Sisters! Bring your lunch and enjoy the music!
