[ARCHIVED] Coffee With a Cop

News

The Westfield Police Department and Starbucks will be hosting Coffee with a Cop at Starbucks located at 280 East Main Street, on Thursday, May 4, 2015, from 5 to 7 pm.  Coffee with a Cop provides a unique opportunity for community members to ask questions and learn more about the department’s work in our community.

The majority of contact law enforcement officers have with the public tends to occur during emergencies or emotional situations, which are often not the most conducive for relationship building with the community. Additionally, some community members may feel that officers are not approachable on the street. Coffee with a Cop breaks down barriers and allows for relaxed, one-on-one interaction.

Please join us at Starbucks at 280 East Main Street on Thursday, May 4, between 5 and 7 pm where you can feel free to bring forward concerns, ask questions, learn about our profession, or simply get to know the officers.  We look forward to seeing you there.
