The Westfield Police Department is seeking any information the public may have regarding a hit & run crash involving pedestrians that took place on Elm Street near C.V.S. around 9 pm Saturday May 27, 2017. Two pedestrians were crossing Elm Street in a marked crosswalk and where injured when an older model (possibly 2008-2012) gray or silver 4-door sedan struck them while traveling northbound on Elm Street. The vehicle did not stop and continued northbound on Elm Street.
It is believed that the suspect vehicle will have damage to the center of the hood as well as possible damage to the front bumper, grill, and windshield. At this time we do not believe that either headlight was damaged during the crash.
