[ARCHIVED] Crime Free Multi Housing Meeting for Landlords


Landlords and property managers don’t miss the free monthly meeting of the Westfield Crime Free Multi Housing Group Thursday, October 26, 2017, 6:00 pm, at Shaker Farms Country Club, 866 Shaker Road, Westfield.   The fourth Thursday of the month will now be the regular meeting date for the group.  This is a change from the third Thursday of the month.  The November meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 21, so as not to conflict with Thanksgiving.

October’s meeting will showcase regular monthly speakers Attorney Stanley Komack, whose practice concentrates in Real Estate and Landlord/Tenant matters, representatives from Ormsby Insurance Agency, Inc., and members of the Westfield Police Department.  This month the topic to be covered will be the do’s and don’ts of the security deposit which will be lead by Attorney Stanley Komack.  Those in attendance will receive a comprehensive handout with regards to a breakdown of the Security Deposit Law.

From 6:00 to 6:30pm, is a social half hour, from 6:30 to 7:00 pm, is an optional RSVP buffet dinner for a fee of $19.00 per person, and at 7:00 pm, the informational portion of the program will begin. Once again, the new date for the Crime Free Multi Housing meetings will be the fourth Thursday of each month.
