[ARCHIVED] The Westfield Police Department Wants Your Blood

Blood wars July 2018

Usually, a couple times per year, the Westfield Poilce Department and the Westfield Fire Department engage in some friendly competitions.  One such competition is "Blood Wars".  Police Officers and Fire Fighters will compete during the week of July 2, 2018, to see who can donate more blood at the Baystate Noble Blood Donor Center.  Here is how you can help.  Donors can be ANYONE, but upon arrival at the blood donor center you must tell them who you are donating on behalf of.  Naturally you will want to donate on behalf of the police department.  The real winners in this competition are those who are in need of blood donations, but it is also nice to see the police department beat the fire department in any competition.

So please, get yourself to Baystate Noble Hospital's Blood Donor Center at one of the following times and tell them you would like to donate on behalf of the police department.  If you would like to donate on behalf of the fire department, feel free to give the following week!  You can make a reservation by calling 413-794-4600, or you can simply walk in during donor times.

July 2: 10 am -2 pm

July 3:  12 pm - 4 pm

July 5:  12 pm - 6 pm

July 6:  8 am - 2 pm

All donors will receive a free ticket to the Big E while supplies last, and thank you in advance from the Westfield Police Department!
