[ARCHIVED] Crime Free Multi Housing Meeting for Landlords


Landlords and property managers don’t miss the free April meeting of the Westfield Crime Free Multi Housing Group, Thursday, April 25, 2019, 6:00 pm, at Shaker Farms Country Club, 866 Shaker Road, Westfield. This is a free meeting for anyone who owns or manages residential rental property.

April’s meeting will showcase regular speakers Attorney Stanley Komack, whose practice concentrates in Real Estate and Landlord/Tenant matters, representatives from Ormsby Insurance Agency, Inc., and members of the Westfield Police Department. This month the topic to be covered will be security deposits.  This month's guest speakers will be the new Clerk Magistrate of Housing Court, Michael J. Doherty and the new Chief Housing Specialist, Jenni Pothier.  Not only is this a very important topic that many landlords misunderstand, but these two individuals will be directly responsible for deciding many of the issues you may find yourself in housing court to address with problem tenants.  This will be a very important meeting!
